  Paly 66er Jim Lomax died May 17, 2026, at his home in Klamath Falls, Ore. In retirement, he and his wife, Anne, had moved there from Fremont to be near their daughter and grandchildren.

     Jim attended Garland and Jordan. At Paly, he was a key member of the baseball team, batting .342 his senior year. He went to UC Berkeley and became a technology technician for the New Haven School District in Union City.
